Can Bisa is a late-19th century mansion now owned by Vilassar de Mar Council. Situated on the Riera de Cabrils watercourse, it occupies part of a street block that used to include a factory, now demolished. Its historic and heritage value and the strategic position it occupies in the town as a whole led the Council to consider it the ideal venue for a cultural facility, completing the complex with a social housing block.
During the implementation of the facility’s programme it rapidly became apparent that it would be impossible to accommodate all the necessary uses in Can Bisa, which is basically given over to council offices; the auditorium, bar and meeting rooms are therefore arranged on the ground floor of the residential building.

For the dwellings, the General Plan specified two volumes of different heights, joined to form an L-shape that respects the width of the streets and mounted on a larger base which is envisaged to accommodate the auditorium. The aim of the project was to unify the volumes by means of a single sloping roof, construct a continuous façade onto the streets, leading to the dwellings, and lay out the interior volume to encourage interrelation with the mansion. The passage generated between the two buildings becomes the main entrance to the complex. Its dimensions are more suggestive of a courtyard and, together with the gardens around Can Bisa, it comprises a series of leisure and recreation spaces that complement the activities offered by the facility. Ceramic planters designed specially by the artist Carme Balada serve to organize the complex.
Both the housing block and the mansion are given a textured finish of white stucco, in strips of varying widths. The balconies and shutters are made of metal, with masonry lattices. Part of the old factory is retained in one of the façades to bear witness to its past.

La realidad cada dia se parece mas a un render.
Estas imagenes me transmiten un cuerpo esterilizado, demasiado blanco, donde se denota una excesiva atencion en la fotografia y en su retoque.
Una foto con una camara digital a manos de un novato como yo me abria emocionado mas que esto.

Més que l'aspecte exterior, em preocupa més la qualitat de l'habitatge, força banal: presència de passadissos foscos, poca qualitat espaial, 0 relació amb un espai exterior, com ara una terrassa, etcètera... Amb els metres linials de façana que té cada habitatge s'hauria pogut aconseguir un resultat molt més digne, i ho dic amb tota sinceritat i respecte, tenint en compte la talla d'aquest magnífic despatx.
Feia temps que no passejava per Vilassar i recordava que existia aquesta casa en ruïnes. Vaig tenir una molt agradable sorpresa en veure la reforma que se li havia dut a terme i el nou espai que es creava al seu voltant juntament amb el nou edifici. He de dir que les fotos, tot i estar retocades i mostrar l'obra "més maca" del que realment és, no són gens enganyoses. L'espai és molt agradable i el caire del conjunt és d'ordre i elegància. Trobo que se li dóna un aspecte més modern a la zona sense trencar radicalment ni ser un intrús en el lloc. A través de diferents passos arribes al carrer de més avall, d'una manera gens forçada, fent un passeig. No obstant, estic d'acord amb què la qualitat espaial de les vivendes no és gaire bona i que efectivament genera passadissos foscos però, a banda d'això, m'agrada molt el projecte i, a més a més, els dibuixos són magnífics.
Alguien entiende la cubierta? Es puramente formal?

tienes razón, me he excedido. Pero creo que tú también, diciendo que es uno de los mejores despachos europeos.
Que sean de casa no quieren decir que merezcan más atención. En MI opinión hay gente con más talento que ellos (creo que te has olvidado de esta palabra en tu cocktail, y es muy importante), incluso en las fronteras catalanas.
Si consideramos europa como tu, entonces ya ni te cuento.
Pueden estar valorados por ti, avalados por GG y publicados por este foro, pero si dices que son uno de los mejores despachos europeos, como mínimo, arguméntalo, de lo contrario tu afirmación no está ni más ni menos justificada que la que he hecho yo.
Justifica y abrámos un diálogo más profundo. No soltemos sórdidas afirmaciones al aire y pretendamos que las traguemos.
