The building is part of the eastern edge of the village bach, in the the ancient village of Sappada. On one hand the ratio measured with the scale of the village, on the other the relationship with the valley and mountain ranges, powerful scenery of the intervention. 

The new complex is a system composed of three similar architectures generated by the same type, the same form, three contemporary and silent architecture, sitting on the topography in a natural way.

The buildings are compact in order to give continuity to the traditional urban fabric of the village, making the north/ south jump altitude to hide in the ground different functions. The lyrics of the project is simple and austere, made of serene volumes, well-proportioned and rigorous. 

A small "village into the village" that absorbs and repeats the charm of the best alpine building tradition, made of wisdom, of continuity and silence.

ETB Studio | School of Music, Huelva

The lot is strategically located at the entrance of the city, occupying a generous portion of green that connects the residential area, the river and the city of punta umbrìa. this disposition offers the possibility of interpreting the proposal as a unique opportunity to build the new public east-west axis running through the lot, connecting the two areas. this creates a clear path of the two entries and of the proposed structure of the two buildings clearly independent,but able to make (build) a single architecture system.on the west side of the lot, with access from avenida de la marina, remains the oldest existing building, the gaviota school; this meaning a minimum project needed for the internal space and the introduction of technical services and basic communication will form the new municipal youth home. on the east side, through the new access to the lot from seneca street, is part of the new building for the new school of music, and between each other, meeting the needs of both buildings, the square,a generous public space among buildings and the landscape. the new interior is the heart of the new system. its boundaries are formed between the floors of the constructed buildings and facades, diluted a dense growth of young pine trees in a strategic position in the city, aiming to become a source of incentive and catalyst for social different groups of punta umbrìa.

ETB Studio | Ampliación de la escuela de Montbrelloz

El nuevo edificio propuesto por el despacho ETB studio, la ampliación de la escuela de Montbrelloz, se inserta con suavidad en el paisaje, puesto en tensión con ésta en un diálogo silencioso.

El edificio es concebido para dispensar la enseñanza general, pero también para sensibilizar a los alumnos en sus raíces, en la geografía y en la historia de su territorio. En la solución propuesta, las aulas y los espacios públicos situados en el nivel superior ampliamente se abren al paisaje que lo rodea, ofrece vistas sobre el lago de Neuchâtel, la campaña cercana, los centros habitados y da valor así a los elementos notables de la arquitectura y del paisaje.

ETB | Biblioteca en Bressanone y otras cosas....

No conocía yo a este estudio de Sevilla (ETB)  que me ha sorprendido dos veces en muy poco tiempo.... La primera vez con un proyecto llamado HACIENDA DE LAS FLORES, que propone un pequeño hotel con un modelo de pequeña ciudad (ver fotografia debajo) que trata de dialogar con el "lugar" donde se enclava basándose en el modelo de "haciendas agrícolas"... Un proyecto excelente que me sorprendió muy agradablemente al verlo....
El segundo lo he visto ahora mismo e incide en las mismas constantes de relación morfológica con el lugar, se trata de la Biblioteca de Bressanone (imagen superior) , un edificio que trata de adaptarse a las leyes del lugar sin por ello renunciar a la contemporaneidad de un lenguaje que no puede ya referirse más a los ideales del Movimiento Moderno....  Jordi Badia
