Fotografía: Christian RichtersThe first project of Sevenoaks School's Masterplan is a new Performing Arts Centre, completed in 2010. The Centre contains a concert hall to seat 450 with an orchestra and choir, a recital room for 100, a drama studio, and 24 music and drama teaching spaces. A generous foyer connects music spaces to the school's theatre. Acoustic considerations underlie every aspect of the building's design.
The building is made of Douglas Fir, handmade brick and exposed concrete, which give a feeling of warmth and solidity throughout.

Amazing project. Very singular, personal and post-modern design. Very good details in inside and outside spaces.Good use of materials and constructive technics, specially the wood roof in the main saloon.
EXCELENT JOB. Congratulations from Barcelona.
